Face fillers went wronggg

️⃣ Hyaluronic acid filler doesn't get "absorbed" by the body with the same speed for each individual. Injected HA should be metabolised in 3 - 6 months or, depending on the brand, it may last for up to 18 months. However what is less known is that evidence suggests that those dermal fillers might last for as long as 7 - 10 years, in some cases.

️⃣ Whoever says that filler migration is very rare, it's lying. 🤥

️⃣ Make sure your filler has indeed been absorbed and not migrated, before going to a new treatment (if a pillow face with duck lips is not the desired aesthetic 👄 🦆).

️⃣ Using fillers to increase volume for more defined features is counterintuitive (it adds weight to the skin making it prone to sagging in the future).

️⃣ Hyaluronidase can also dissolve your own body's naturally created hyaluronic acid when used to get rid off the excess fillers.

️⃣ Repeated dermal filler treatments can mess up with your lymphatic system and speed up skin's ageing process 💀

️⃣ If HA is injected by mistake in a blood vessel, it can cause blindness. 👀

️⃣ Never allow anyone other than a medical doctor to do it. Preferably a doctor with more than 2 days of training 🙃

️⃣ If Xyz celeb does it, it doesn't mean y o u need it!

🔟 Way too many practitioners in this industry are shameless money 💰 🤑 grabbers.
